PUPPY HEALTH

Your puppy's health is very important to us. We take great measure to ensure that all our puppies are raised to the highest of standards and we love all of our puppies and have many sleepless nights and relentless devotion to these babies long before they are ready to go to their new homes. We have a very long track record of producing healthy, happy, well adjusted puppies. We do everything we can to ensure that they are healthy and will live the longest possible lives they can.

Our Guarantee

We guarantee our puppies to be in good health to the best of the knowledge of our highly trained veterinarians and our knowledgeable staff. All puppies will have a vet exam prior to delivery. All shots are up to date and puppies will be free from any obvious defects, contagious disease, or major health issues at the time of delivery. Keep in mind that puppies may be severely stressed by the change in their environment. Minor problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, wormy stool, etc., is common in puppies and may occur and must be treated. These conditions are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and should be checked by a veterinarian. Minor health problems that can be cured by medication or surgery are not covered by any guarantee. The Seller is not responsible for hypoglycemia or diagnosis of coccidiosis, Guardia or other types of parasitic and/or bacterial infections. All of our puppies have routine deworming treatments every 2 weeks, preventative parasite and anti-bacterial treatments, and scheduled vaccines prior to leaving our facility. The health of our puppies is our #1 concern. Deposits are non-refundable unless in the rare event of severe illness or death of your puppy occurs before pickup and/or delivery. No exceptions.

Buyer’s Responsibilities:

Have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours after delivery. We must be informed immediately of the examination’s result by e-mail or telephone if there is any kind of serious problem found by the vet.  No vet fees or charges will be paid by the seller unless prior agreement is made before any treatment is administered. We must be notified and approve any treatments after examination within 48 hours upon arrival of your puppy. (Any future Veterinarian fees/charges incurred will NOT be covered by the Seller and you will be responsible for your own dogs veterinarian medical costs if there are any.) Puppy well checks, grooming, vaccines, deworming, parasites, colds, upset stomach, diarrhea, dental care,  or other minor ailments will NOT be covered or reimbursed by the seller and/or Bliss Acres Farm at any time.
Failure to complete this crucial step will terminate the health guarantee on the puppy. This guarantee will then be null and void.

Be sure to provide your puppy with following routine preventive care, such as, but not limited to:

  1. Initial exam (within business 48 hrs) and annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian.

  2. Follow veterinarian guidelines for routine vaccinations and deworming.

  3. Keep your puppy free of parasites such as fleas, worms, flies, bacteria, heartworms, and ear mites.

  4. Keep your puppy on high-quality nutrition at all times.

  5. Keep your puppy on NuVet vitamin supplements to keep the puppy's immunity boosted. Transitioning to a new home and environment is very stressful to a puppy. Order information can be found on this website and in the puppy folder sent home when you pick-up your puppy.

This health guarantee DOES NOT cover Coccidia, Guardia, Hypoglycemia, Parasites, Heartworms, or Kennel Cough, which are common in puppies that are shipped, transported, or are around other dogs/puppies, or outdoors. Coccidia, Guardia, and Kennel cough are usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self-limiting and, like the common cold, must run its course. Contact your vet is any coughing or wheezing is noticed. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough, on its own, is not life threatening. Although we have never experienced any of the following ailments with any of our puppies, there are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as but not limited to:
allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, cancer, tumors, bloat, murmurs, seizures, eye entropion, cherry eye, hip and elbow dysplasia, luxating patella, abscess, growths, scabies, mite related illness, fleas or parasites, viral infections and other autoimmune disorders which ARE NOT COVERED by this health guarantee.
Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.
There is no guarantee that you will be able to show or breed your puppy regardless of show or breeding potential. We do not guarantee fertility or that a puppy or dog will be able to breed successfully or whelp a litter. We do not guarantee "weight" although we do our very best to estimate a puppies adult weight based on universal small breed weight charts. This is only an estimate. Feeding a high-quality food is always recommended and plenty of exercise. Avoid feeding human food or high calorie treats or treats without all-natural ingredients as Chihuahuas and Pomeranian's are prone to obesity. Contact us for any suggestions.

There is nothing better than adding a new puppy to your family. They make the perfect companion and best friend. Chihuahuas and Poms are known to have a long-life span and are very loyal, smart, and loving. They love to be pampered and spoiled. Some people thing we are silly but we often like to put little sweaters and dresses on our dogs. They really seem to love it and even bend their heads down to assist with dressing. They are such sweethearts. We are happy to answer any questions that you might have about the breed or about one of our puppies. Please email us at: info@blissacres.com

She was so kind and worked with me on payments, I never felt rushed or hounded. She even kept rebel an extra 2 weeks after the rest of the litter went to their new homes until I could make the last payment.

It was the best experience I have ever had. She loves her puppies like family. Like her kids. My boy has been the best thing in my life! Sweestest, most loving, loyal family dog I have ever had. I have 3 small children and rebel is so gentle and so well behaved.

They aren't like any other dog I have owned. After I got my boy, she still checks on him and I send her pictures...she still cares and is always here for me if I need anything!
